All districts of the state have been covered under the scheme. More than 2,467 teachers have been provided hand-holding and more that 2,197 proposals have been prepared by the participants after the workshop,” said the source.
The three-day workshop series focused on about 1,032 college teachers of eight universities in 26 districts of Gujarat. “Teachers from engineering, pharmacy, architecture and medicine faculties were nor covered under the series. Only those teachers were covered under the programme who have not been able to submit any research proposal till the date of workshop,” the source said.
The consortium has tied up with Information and Library Network (Inflibnet) to avail books and reference material to teachers in order to help them prepare research proposals. As many as 70,000 e-books and 8000 e-journal are available online for teachers.
