Three senior students of Sahajanand High School, Elisbridge allegedly stripped a class IX boy in a toilet, forced him to dance and took a video of the act on a mobile phone. The accused threatened the boy against informing anyone of the incident else they would post the video on YouTube.
The incident occurred on November 10, after which the boy’s parents are reported to have met the school principal and lodged a complaint with the police. Sources said the boy, a minor, hasn’t attended school since the incident took place. The English medium school is housed on Sahajanand college campus.

Boy threatened
AM learnt from the victim’s family that the accused were also minors, students of class X and XI of the same school. The three alleged followed the boy to the toilet where he went to answer nature’s call after his class’ seventh period around
11.30 am. There, one of the senior students stripped the boy, another ordered him to dance on a mobile phone tune, and the third recorded the act on his phone. They fled the scene on hearing someone walking towards the toilet, but not before threatening the kid of dire consequences.
The boy ran back to his class but didn’t tell the teacher of the incident. He attended the last period of the day before leaving for home. At home, the terrified boy again did not tell his parents anything about the ordeal. He did not attend school for two days, and spoke up before his parents only on Thursday. Shocked, the parents rushed to the school and also informed the police.

Principal tells all ‘unprovoked’
For his part, Sahajanand school principal Kirit Parmar denied the incident outright. Before AM asked a question, the principal said, “No such incident has taken place. Some people are trying to defame our school.” Over what, AM asked. “No, no. It’s just adolescent behaviour. Boys are mischievous.” He continued without any prompting, “Nothing happened, not even in the toilet.”
When AM finally asked him if the victim’s parents met him, principal Parmar said, “The parents met me but didn’t file any written complaint.” Asked if the accused students were questioned over the incident, he said, “We will take action if a complaint is filed in the matter.” The boy’s parents though maintained they’ve registered a protest with the principal and filed a plea with the police.
