Girish Cyria, who has earlier been caught selling tickets illegally, was again caught on Thursday for getting a ticket in the VIP quota of a BJP member issued in the name of one Kaderbhai and selling it to another person named K Sanjiv. Cyria, his brother-in-law Girish Nakoda and Mahendra were earlier nabbed by the Railway vigilance at Gandigram station were caught selling tickets in dummy names on October 2005.
Since then they have flourished. Railway Protection Force officials, however, said Cyria was arrested for the first time.According to railway sources, on May 12, a VIP quota request was sent on the letter head of BJP member Suresh Patni, a member of the DRUCC (Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee), for a person named Kaderbhai who was travelling by the third AC in Lok Shakti Express to Mumbai on the same day. A berth was allotted to the person.
