GLS wants university status. The proposal will be submitted to the state government next month. If it is sanctioned, the city will get its ninth varsity. The trust is scouting S G Highway for possible sites to set up the university. GLS executive vice-president Sudhir Nanavati said, “We have always strived to provide quality education to our students. We are experts in the fields of arts, commerce, management, law and education.
